A clear, guided process

So you always know what comes next.
This page walks you through exactly how the experience unfolds, step by step. No guesswork. No rushing. No pressure.

Most stress around photos doesn’t come from the session itself.

It comes from not knowing what to expect.

That’s why this process is intentionally structured — to support families who want clarity, calm, and thoughtful guidance from start to finish.

Step 1: Complimentary Consultation

We start with a conversation — not a commitment.

This is a relaxed, pressure-free call where we:

  • Talk about your family and this season of life
  • Discuss what you’re hoping to create
  • Answer questions honestly and clearly
  • Determine whether we’re a good fit

You don’t need to have anything figured out yet.

Step 2: Planning and Preparation

You’re guided before the camera ever comes out.

After booking, you’ll receive support with:

  • Wardrobe direction (what works best on camera and together)
  • Location selection that fits your family’s energy
  • Session pacing and flow
  • What to expect — so nothing feels last minute

The goal is to arrive feeling prepared, not overwhelmed.

Step 3: Session Day

Calm direction. Natural connection.

Sessions are gently guided and intentionally paced.

There’s no expectation for perfection — only presence.

  • Children are allowed to be themselves
  • Movement is encouraged
  • Moments unfold naturally with subtle direction

You are never rushed or forced into anything that doesn’t feel right.

Step 4: Design Appointment

You’re not left alone to decide.

After your session, we move into the reveal and design phase where:

  • You view your images intentionally
  • I help you narrow and select what matters most
  • Artwork options are discussed with clarity and care

This is collaborative and supportive — never transactional.

Step 5: Artwork Delivery

Your images are designed to live with you.

Final selections are:

  • Professionally prepared
  • Designed for your home
  • Delivered with longevity and care in mind

This is where moments turn into legacy.

This structure exists to protect:

  • Your time
  • Your energy
  • Your emotional experience
  • The quality of the final artwork

It’s also why I take a limited number of sessions each month.

This process is ideal for families who:

  • Prefer clarity over chaos
  • Want guidance instead of pressure
  • Value thoughtful pacing
  • Care about meaningful artwork, not just digital files

If that sounds like you, this will feel like a relief.

The first step is simply a conversation.

Consultations are complimentary and designed to help you decide if this process fits your family.
